4 years later... Success!!!

So we went to see Santa today. Which can always be an experience. You never know what you're gonna get. Let's take a look at the years past for evidence...

2 weeks after Ava was born:

A little better... Not much interest at all actually.

Not having much of this man at all:

But then!! 2009 comes and brings with it 2 happy kids with smiles, sitting like a Christmas card!

Preschool Halloween Parade

The Halloween party at Preschool was supposed to be Thursday, so everyone was devastated when it snowed so hard that school was canceled, but it was made up for today. All the kiddos in costume paraded around the Parish Hall and they all looked so adorable I could have eaten them, if I hadn't already had breakfast... There's my little Dinosaur in the middle standing up

Halloween 2009

Everyone loves Halloween, especially when your kids are finally old enough to understand what it's all about. That was this year for us. Our kids were so excited and they practically ran from house to house. But we are still at the awesome age where they are satisfied with hitting half a block and they are ready to go home. I would call this year the perfect Halloween. I know next year we will be trick-or-treating for much longer....

Here are the kids in all their Halloween glory as The Little Mermaid and a scary-nice Dinosaur (his description).

Bella and Sophie came over to trick-or-treat with us before we headed to their house for the annual Halloween party.

At the Halloween party it is a must to dress up for the adults, here is Brian and I as Juno McGuff and Paulie Bleaker. He has some nice legs.

Josh and Shawna were a UPS delivery woman and her package..

Joe and Birthday-girl Sarah were the ever classy Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.

Jisun and her boyfriend, Mike, were the curtest Popeye and Olive Oyle we have seen.

Brett, Chrystal, and Spencer can still get away with the family costume before Spencer gets his own ideas of a costume and they were The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

Halloween was a great success this year and the most fun I have had in a long time. It only gets more fun with the kids.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to pick out some pumpkins at the pumpkin patch this weekend. It was frigid. Freezing. So we hung on and did as much as we could before our little feety-toes were frozen. Pumpkin carving next!
